Tanning Your Boobs Isn’t Just Fun & Feel-Good – It Could Save Your Life.
With that in mind, it’s rather worrying to know that only 29% of women aged 18-35 years old check their boobs monthly; and only 50% of women would immediately visit their doctor upon discovering early signs and symptoms**
“We want everyone to have the best possible chance of surviving breast cancer. Ideally we want to live in a world where all breast cancers are diagnosed at the earliest stage possible, at which treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher.” CoppaFeel!

“We are so excited to be working with Skinny Tan. By helping us to spread our vital message of the importance of checking your boobs, pecs or chest regularly, and by raising vital funds for us to continue our work, Skinny Tan and it’s community are making a huge difference to our mission.
Breast cancer can affect anybody, and in a year where we have seen an increase in our audience expressing that they would delay visiting their GP because of a fear of catching Coronavirus and believing they are not a priority for the NHS, starting these important conversations about early detection could save lives.
Checking your boobs isn’t just fun; it can save your life. We can’t wait to achieve great things with Skinny Tan, every Tanning Thursday and beyond.”

GET THOSE KNOCKERS OUT: HOW TO CHECK YOUR BOOBS
You’ll want to focus on the area from your armpit, across and beneath your boobs, and up to your collarbone.
👀 STEP 2: Check yourself out.
Using a mirror, have a look for any changes in size, outline or shape. Take note of any changes in skin, such as puckering or dimpling.
Tip: If you are able, try looking with your arms both raised and down by your sides.
🖐 STEP 3: Cop a feel.
Using your hands, feel around to identify any lumps, bumps or skin thickening which is different from the opposite side. Also, be aware of any constant or unusual pain.
🍈 STEP 4: Look at each of your nipples.
Be aware of any nipple discharge that's not milky, as well as any bleeding, rash or crusting on or around your nipple area.
Tip: It's normal for boobs to hurt around your period, but if the pain is different or there more often then get it checked out.
If you notice anything that doesn’t feel normal, monitor it for a week and book an appointment with your doctor.
